Fire World takes place on a different world that is parallel to ours. They are like an evolved version of us but not all parts of that are good. There are only really two types of animals there now. Firebirds and Katts. David Rain has a pet Katt but something is different about it. He made it with an imperfection. The reason for the flaw could be due to an interesting disturbance in his sleep. To investigate this disturbance he is sent away to a Librium. There he isn't encouraged to imagineer but to truly imagine. While there he helps to put the books in order and also finds he must protect them. Not everyone has good intentions for them and he must stop them in order to protect everyone and everything. Oh and to complicate matters even more.....David's father accidentally sent everyone eight years into the future.
